I felt the moment it got dark after 2
I am so tired;
My head is hurting;
My face is freezing;
WHAT IS THIS FEELING ?

Loathing
Seasonal Depression
Its a real thing
Let’s just say- I loathe it all!
Every little degree however small
Makes my very flesh begin to crawl
Literally hating this season, but we are not letting this seasonal depression get to us because WE ARE UNLIMITED
Can you tell I watched wicked recently and it just fits so well i had to do it.
All jokes aside, Seasonal Depression is real and this month is all about bringing awareness to something we all probably feel to some degree. While it can feel overwhelming, awareness and proactive steps can make a world of difference, so don’t worry we will be here all month.

Lets dive right in!
Here is a thought. Why are most of the “major” holidays in the winter months? Is it to help the masses get through the cold in a cheerful way? That is the only thing that makes sense to me. What are your thoughts?
Even if you celebrate or not, it's four months of short days and long nights that are really cold and dreary. Do not blame yourself for feeling a little down. Do not worry! There is a solution. If you are feeling:
Persistent sadness or low mood
Fatigue and lack of energy
Difficulty concentrating
Sleep disturbances (oversleeping or insomnia)
Changes in appetite, often craving carbs or comfort foods
Loss of interest in activities once enjoyed
Feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness
Move somewhere warm LOL. It is going to be colder here than Alaska this week. SEE YA
Naturally, our circadian rhythm is off. Our sleep is shifted, we are not getting enough vitamin D & we are not moving around as much. This is not the time to hibernate! This is the time to harvest. Think about it.. By the time most people get out of work the sun has gone down and feels like it is time to go to bed; JK you have a whole night ahead of you! In reality the things that would be done in general can be benched because we are either too tired or too cold to get anywhere so that makes us more sedentary. All we want to do is get cozy. Now, I am not saying getting cozy is bad. I am the first one to advocate rest, however excessive rest where we find ourselves dodging things to stay in the house definitely is a sign to get your ass up and keep moving. I say that with ALL the love in my heart because ya girl is there with you<3
This is just a season. We evolve in the seasons.
